Zero waste BSB is a two-year project aiming to increase environmental consciousness especially on the impact of waste production on marine and coastal ecosystems and to increase awareness for reduction of waste produced and recycling.
“Zero Waste Strategy: Methods and Implementation in Black Sea Basin” (ZeroWasteBSB) is a two-year project aiming to increase environmental consciousness especially on the impact of waste production on marine and coastal ecosystems and to raise awareness for reduction of waste produced, and recycling.
General objective:
To raise awareness about the water pollution because of waste production, in particular plastic, to learn to students how to reduce waste production and recycle.
Target group:
The target groups of this project consist of students, teachers, parents, stakeholders
Activities:
- Research on Waste Characterization
- Workshops on environmental education to students
- Schools campaigns
- School field trips to clean the waste
- Awareness raising events
- Creation of Zero Waste centre to provide information to citizens on recycling
Duration:
The project will run for 2 years starting from April 2020.
