Antigone in education

Antigone in Educational Programmes for Human Rights and Democracy

From 2012 until today, ANTIGONE is on stable collaboration with the Greek school community co-organizing various educational projects on democracy and human rights. Following non-formal education methodology and tools, the trainers’ team develops and coordinates training programs addressing:

  • students of primary Schools
  • students of secondary Schools
  • university students in pedagogical departments
  • primary school teachers
  • secondary school teachers
  • educational stakeholders that run under the Ministry of Education such as Regional Centres for Educational Planning, Health Education Offices, Educational Directorates responsible for the organisation of human rights related school programs
  • parents, children’s guardians
  • other school staff members
  • educators, psychologists, artists and other professionals involved in children’s and youth education

On yearly basis ANTIGONE’s educational programs and trainers get certified as pedagogically competent by the Greek Ministry of Education.
