Project „Youth is Tolerance: combating anti-Roma stereotypes among young people”,
Financed by the European commission under program "Fundamental Rights and Active Citizenship"
JUST/2011-2012-FRC/2867 – European Commission, DG Justice

Once again we took trains, buses, trams, subways and airplanes to visit the voluntary groups that are involved in the project "Youth is Tolerance" in Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
This time it was the turn of Hungarian field visit, in the city called Szeged, two and a half hours by train, at the south of Budapest.
And of course, it was not possible to go to Hungary and not to visit the magnificent Budapest. The team of ANTIGONE (Giorgos, Vasilis, Christos and Andromachi) were exchited with the impressive buildings of the Parliament and the Opera, the suspension bridge with the lions, the church of St. Matthew and St. Stephen, and with the cleanliness, the simplicity and the quite of a capital!
The same evening found us to travel to Szeged, where for two days we participated in training workshops implemented by the organization DARTKE, as well as in the tour of the city, in the meeting about the identity and origin of Roma people and the in tribute to Roma night.
We may had wait 2 days for our lost luggages, we may had cured the sick Chris, the city tour may had takken place during a can, but the Egyptian treasures, the youthful and vibrant spirit of youth cooperation gave us memorable moments.
We thank our friends who supported us on the trip, the mothers and grandmothers who cooked sausage rolls, cheese pies and semolina halva for the Greek night and all of you who praise our work with every positive comment.
And we continue at schools!
