ANTIGONE and ADDART NGOs carry out the educational action “Together in our Neighboorhood” in six primary schools of Thessaloniki. The action is being implemented under the programme “Schools Open to the Neighboorhood”, an initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Directorate of Education and Sports in collaboration with Creativity Platform NGO that coordinates the program. The programme is realized by an exclusive donation of Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

ANTIGONE and ADDART NGOs carry out the educational action “Together in our Neighboorhood” in six primary schools of Thessaloniki. The action is being implemented under the programme “Schools Open to the Neighboorhood”, an initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Directorate of Education and Sports in collaboration with Creativity Platform NGO that coordinates the program. Objectives
- To enable participants of different age, gender, origin, economic and social background, get to know each other and collaborate.
- To promote active participation and mutual exchange of ideas in the group taking into consideration everyone’s needs and priorities.
- To gradually raise motivation of residents towards taking on an active role in all aspects of local life.
Target group
Participants above 10 years old.
Activities
- Twenty-four (24) in total two-hour workshops in 6 primary schools of Thessaloniki.
- Creation of a booklet on the life in the neighbourhood including stories developed by workshops’ participants.
