This year the 24th National Roundtable Against Discrimination, an institution successfully organized for the twenty-fourth consecutive year, by “ANTIGONE” – Information and Documentation Center for Racism, Ecology, Peace and Non-Violence
will have as its theme: “Brief media policies against immigrants and people of different racial origin and detection of methods to treat them”.
The event will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 6 p.m. in the “George Anastasopoulos” room of the ESIEA on the 3rd floor (Akadimias 20, Athens).
The First Section will address the extent and seriousness of the phenomenon of distorted presentation of immigrants and people of different racial origins by the media, while the Second Section will highlight proposals and solutions that will contribute to the radical improvement of the image of immigrants and people of different origins.
At the end of each Section, a dialogue with questions and positions is planned.
It will be a great pleasure for you to participate personally and to further disseminate this Program to colleagues and friends who are interested in the specific issues.
The detailed Program of the Round Table is attached.
